
As a founding Director of Dental Corporation, Chris was instrumental in developing the initial strategic direction of the business and raising over $200 million in equity, along with leading acquisitions, due diligence, and contract negotiations. Following the sale of Dental Corp to Bupa, Chris conceived the strategy and led the establishment of Bupa Dental, managing the creation of over 37 branded clinics in two years.
Subsequent to that, Chris, along with the Normanby team, led the creation of:
Edge Early Learning, a rapidly emerging developer and operator of quality early education facilities in south east Queensland
Removery, the world’s largest specialist tattoo removal business, with operations in the USA and Canada, and coming soon to Australia
Salon Studios, an innovative option for new business owners in the beauty industry
Chris is also a partner at HEAL Partners. Prior to Normanby, Chris had an executive role in strategic management consulting working with clients to develop strategies for market entry, online service delivery and cost reduction, and reviewing strategic investment opportunities. Chris’ clients included companies in the financial services, telecommunications, and energy industries, as well as the public sector in Australia, the USA, and the UK.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and is a member of FINSIA.
