Partnering with the clinical founder, the Principals of Normanby Capital developed the overarching growth strategy which led to the company becoming the Asia-Pacific region’s largest dental services provider.
Our role extended to:
Raising the required capital to fund the acquisition of over 200 practices;
Recruitment of a high-calibre management team; and
Establishing a comprehensive finance, human resources, marketing, and IT infrastructure to provide back-office support operations.
Unique to Dental Corporation was its underlying focus on clinician engagement, autonomy and professional development.
The incentives offered mimicked that which practice principals received as practice owners, while being supported by a corporate office built upon a foundation of customer service excellence.
In 2013, Dental Corporation was acquired by Bupa, one of the world’s largest health services providers, in a transaction valuing the business at approximately $600m.
