Matt is an experienced strategic business development and investment professional with over 20 years of corporate development, M&A and investment experience and a specific focus on the US, UK and Australian health sectors.
Matt joined Normanby Capital in February 2017 after spending approximately four years leading the corporate development and M&A function at Bupa Dental Corporation. During this time, he worked closely with Mark and Chris across a range of strategic growth initiatives.
Prior to Bupa Dental Corporation, Matt was a Manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions team of global professional services firm, PwC, where he managed acquisitions, divestments and strategic business development plans for private equity and corporate clients across the healthcare, business services and industrial services sectors.
Before joining PwC, he spent nine years in the United States where he worked primarily in healthcare business development roles with a focus on ancillary health services (including home care, respiratory therapy, infusion pharmacy services and palliative care).
Matt a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with Magna Cum Laude honours in Finance and Economics and holds a Master of Health Administration from Monash University.
